Quick Care Guide: Golden Pothos
- ☀️ Light: Versatile & Adaptable Thrives in bright, indirect light but is famous for its ability to tolerate low-light conditions. While it can survive in dim corners, its beautiful yellow variegation will be more pronounced with filtered sunlight. Avoid direct Florida afternoon sun to prevent leaf burn.
- 💧 Water: The "Let it Dry" Strategy Allow the top 2 inches of soil to dry out completely before watering. If the leaves look slightly wilted or limp, it’s usually a sign that it's ready for a drink. Ensure your Artisan Talavera Planter has excellent drainage, as Pothos do not like "wet feet".
- 🌴 Humidity: Easygoing While it enjoys the natural humidity of Wesley Chapel, it is very adaptable to standard indoor air. No special misting is required, making it a perfect "set it and forget it" plant.
- 🐾 Toxicity: Keep Away from Pets Pothos are toxic to cats and dogs if ingested. It is best to display this variety in a hanging basket or on a high shelf where its vines can gracefully trail down out of reach.
- ✂️ Maintenance & Growth To encourage a bushier plant, simply pinch back the vines. The cuttings can easily be propagated in water to start even more "Microtopia" greenery in your home!
