Quick Care Tips for Success:

☀️ Light: Thrives in full sun! It needs at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day to produce the most brilliant blooms and keep that silvery foliage tight and compact.

💧 Water: Highly drought-tolerant once established. Water regularly when first planted, but then allow the soil to dry out nicely between waterings. It absolutely needs well-draining soil to prevent crown rot.

🌴 Humidity: It can handle our Florida heat and humidity perfectly, but make sure it has good air circulation and isn't sitting in thick, wet mulch.

🐾 Toxicity: Not pet-friendly. Dianthus can cause mild stomach upset or skin irritation if ingested, so it's best to plant it where curious cats and dogs won't be tempted to snack on it.
