Quick Care Guide: Inch Plant

• ☀️ Light: Bright, Indirect Light To maintain those vibrant purple and silver stripes, place your plant in bright, indirect sunlight. While it can survive in lower light, the colors will fade and the stems will become "leggy". Avoid harsh, direct Florida afternoon sun to prevent leaf scorch.
• 💧 Water: The "Top Inch" Rule Keep the soil consistently moist but never soggy. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. This variety is sensitive to root rot, so ensure your Artisan Talavera Planter has excellent drainage.
• 🌴 Humidity: Tropical Preference Like most of our nursery starts, the Inch Plant thrives in high humidity. It loves the natural Florida air in Wesley Chapel, but a frequent misting will help keep the foliage lush if kept indoors.
• 🐾 Toxicity: Use Caution with Pets The sap of the Inch Plant can be a mild skin irritant and is toxic to pets if ingested. It is best displayed as a trailing plant in a hanging basket or on a high shelf out of reach of curious paws.
• ✂️ Maintenance: Pinch to Grow True to its name, this plant grows an "inch" at a time! To keep it bushy, pinch back the long trailers. You can easily stick those cuttings back into the soil or water to propagate new starts.
